Sadie's black light dance was last Saturday, and I cooked dinner! I needed something easy to make, vegetarian, something everybody likes, and that's all natural. And thus, my pizza was born! Here's the recipe to my yummy homemade Veggie Pizza!
Ingredients:
- One bag of all natural basil rolled pizza dough (found in natural section in grocery store)
- One ball of mozzarella cheese
- Two Roman tomatoes
- Green onions
- Dried Basil
- Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- Organic tomato and basil sauce
~Steps~
1. Pre-heat your oven to the heating instructions on dough bag.
2. With a lightly flower dusting rolling pin, roll out your dough onto a pizza pan.
3. Lightly sprinkle the dried basil.
4. Cover the the dough with the sauce to about a inch away from the edge
5. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices and spread on pizza
6. Slice the tomatoes and spread them out on the dough
7. Chop the green onions and sprinkle
8. Sprinkle salt and pepper
9. Drizzle olive oil
10. Put it in the oven (for the amount of time listed on the bag) and enjoy!
Optional Sides that I used:
Spinach with mandarins and balsamic vinegar
Fresh steamed green beans
