Manic Monday

Well kids, I guess I have some explaining to do, since I posted my Instagram picture this morning pre hospital.
This weekend my team and I had a soccer tournament in Turlock (which was so much fun!) and I got fouled in second half of the game. A girl clipped my ankle and I fell head first on the ground. I was dizzy and a little disoriented but I didnt think of what happened to my ankle. It hurt, but I was more concerned with my head.
The next morning I woke up and I had a splitting head ache and a swollen ankle but once again I only worried about my head. I got through the first game and the second with pain in my head and in my ankle and went home. At night is when I really started to feel the pain where I had got clipped but I thought it was only a little bruise.
Finally, this morning I got up to turn on the light for my mom and it felt like someone had waked me in the ankle with a baseball bat. The pain was unreal. My whole foot was badly swollen and I had to crawl to get to the car. I went to my doctor and she sent me down to the hospital for X-rays and a cast because if how badly I was in pain and it could possibly be broken.
I took my X-rays and went to podiatry (wheel chair swaggin of course) it wasn't broken thank god but the doctor still wanted to put me in a cast. (boo) We finally settled on a boot and crutches for two weeks and if all goes well ill be put into a little splint and be back on the field in no time!

Until Next Time,
Madison
